Osmand alternative

I have recently decided to go anti-google and have found great alternatives to them except for gmaps. Yes, i can use microg and use it but like the devs of lineage im not a big fan of signature spoofing and sorts.
So, i tried using waze and osmand, but waze just doesnt seem to work and osmand in india isnt very good, is there a good alternative to osmand which can run without microg or google play services.
